A fundraiser for the Gulfport Arts Center and Gulfport Historical Society.
Gulfport's artists are lit up with talent, and they're sharing it with everyone at this holiday mini-tree auction.
Artists and creators have generously donated their time and talents to decorate three-foot-tall holiday trees in varying themes and colors.
We'll auction off the trees at First Friday Art Walk in December; the proceeds benefit the Gulfport Historical Society, a 501c3 that operates the Gulfport History Museum and the Gulfport Arts Center.
The Gulfport Arts Center will reopen shortly as a community resource and space for artists. The Gulfport History Museum was closed from Labor Day 2018 until the summer of 2019 because of a fire, then again from March of 2020 until mid-2021 due to COVID. GHS will use proceeds from the auction will be used for on-going operational expenses and future programming events at both venues. Please join us in the Courtyard to support our artists, ooh and ahh over the trees (maybe even take one home), and support you local community arts & history organization.
