Have you ever wondered what people ate in Florida before cattle, citrus, and other common "Florida foods" were introduced? This talk by Rachael Kangas, West Central & Central Region Director of the Florida Public Archaeology Network, will show how archeological research and historical documents come together to reveal how people in Southwest Florida 2,000 years ago answered life's perennial question: what's for dinner?

Doors open at 6:30pm, program begins at 7pm.  NOTE: Due to the large number of registrations, we have moved this event to Gulfport's Scout Hall, located next door to the History Museum at 5315 28th Avenue South (in Chase Park).
