Join Gulfport Historical Society for the July edition of our Florida Summer Cinema Series!

This month's film is set in a South Beach, where a gay cabaret owner and his drag queen companion agree to put up a false straight front so that their son can introduce them to his fiancée's right-wing moralistic parents. With leading roles played by Robin Williams and Nathan Lane, one critic opined that this film was "so boisterously entertaining that it's easy for the unsuspecting viewer not to realize there's a message here." This film is rated R (for profanity).

Pack a picnic, bring chairs, and join us for the screening on the back lawn of the Gulfport History Museum. Doors open at 7:30, film starts at sunset. This event is free and open to the public.

Big thanks to A Friend Who Bakes, who is sponsoring our July film.
