Join Gulfport Historical Society for the opening event in our Florida Summer Cinema Series!

We'll be showing a family-friendly comedy based on Carl Hiaasen's novel about a group of kids trying to saving a burrowing owl habitat from being transformed into a pancake house. This Florida gem features live burrowing owls and music by Jimmy Buffet, who also plays the role of the kids' science teacher.

Bring a picnic and your lawn chairs to set up on the back lawn of the Gulfport History Museum. (We regret to say we will not be able to provide snacks from Chef Morgan this time around!) Doors open at 7:30, film begins at sunset. This event is free and open to all.

A big thanks to the Gulfport Beach Bazaar, who is sponsoring our June film!
